The last opportunity before the lock down was used for an excellent meal. Especially the dry aged beef fillet was a very special treat ... a poem! The side dishes were also very, very good. There was also praise for the dessert.

So here are my experiences: Called and ordered a table at 5:30 p.m. because I was nearby. The answer was: "Can't you come later, around 5:45 pm?" Not finished yet or what? That's exactly how it was! When we got there nothing was ready. The "boss" was annoyed from the start. No "hello" or anything. Cloth napkins weren't folded until we got there For us there were loveless paper napkins I didn't feel comfortable as a guest, When I asked "What. Are there daily recommendations?" , the service staff didn't know what to say, except "That's not there today anyway", ´. The boss then sent me, who then told me something. Yes then ordered, I thought everything was good! Eat: Amise bouche: Doesn't do justice to this restaurant's claim. Quark and standard baked baquette. Ordered rib eye, delivered rump steak !! I actually wanted to complain, but then I didn't because I was hungry! Starter: Goat cheese gratin was very good. RECOMMENDATION !! Main course: steak was mediocre, rib eye ordered, rump steak delivered !! Badly fried, I order medium and then the whole thing comes across as well done. Paprika butter with the steak -> not edible !! Sauce Cafe de Paris would be better. But that's just a recommendation. In the end my wife pays at the counter because nobody came to want to take my credit card. And there, too, my first impression was confirmed, no thanks, no goodbye ... CONCLUSION: - Nice location and nice ambience - Very friendly service staff - Incompetent boss towards walk-in customers, but very friendly towards regular customers. - "Very clear" map. No game, no lamb, no shellfish, no poultry - Meager daily recommendation - High standards, no class - More like a beer garden with something to eat I hope it was just a bad day. I just lack faith. Anyone who processes such high-quality products should also assert their claims properly so that they will be happy to come back! In my opinion, there is no clear concept here! The food is high quality and delicious. The schnitzel is homemade. Unlike many other restaurants, they knew their way around gluten and gluten-free dishes. The selection was varied here. There was even gluten-free bread. Service was great. There is a great playground for children a few meters away.

We decided to have dinner at Hof Grass again, but things turned out differently. After we were allowed to wait more than an hour for the two ordered hamburgers and the very friendly ladies in the service could not bring any information from the kitchen, my wife decided to cancel their hamburger. I myself canceled about 15 minutes later and asked for the bill. The nice lady at the next table with her two small children also had the pleasure of waiting for their hamburgers for more than 90 minutes and was accordingly amused. For this, the friendly restaurateur brought us his bill and was actually surprised that we did not intend to pay for the hamburgers that were not delivered. To date, Hof Grass has actually always offered good quality but also at a premium price, but the rather small hamburgers with a small salad and an egg were then to be found and paid for at a sporting price of € 22.50 each then something touches us very unpleasantly. The friendly restaurateur will be able to afford it and have reasons for not having paid for what has been delivered. A new experience for us.

A nice place to enjoy an excellent meal in a wonderful atmosphere. The direct connection to the adjacent playground is very suitable for families. The staff is super friendly despite mouth nose protection :-). The burger is recommended, totally delicious.

Small but fine menu, good wine selection. Particularly noteworthy: Dry Aged Beef from Weiderind. Food was deliciously prepared and the service was very friendly.

Nice restaurant with delicious food 🥘 The menu is small and well arranged. The staff was very friendly and the food tasted delicious. Also great for the whole family, because in the summer you can sit in the garden and the kids can have fun on the playground. Also hikers are not too short here, which can walk from here to the waterworks of the OVAG as well as the Inheidener See.

Dear nice restaurant with great beer garden. For children is also a nice playground nearby. The food is upscale and always fresh. The owner knows how to deal with his guests. Anyone looking for something special could find something here.

Rating for wedding dinner with 24 adults and three children: The decoration absolutely met the expectations. Not to be overloaded and in the colors that were agreed. The service staff were very attentive and immediately saw when drinks were empty. The children's wishes were met with spaghetti, fries and ice cream dessert. All dishes were super tasty and nicely presented. Overall no complaints! The price was reasonable, if not very affordable. We can unconditionally recommend Hof Grass!

A great evening with our friends. The food was very tasty. The service friendly. Unfortunately our water order was ignored twice. Too bad. The portions are plentiful, soup as an appetizer almost too much. All in all, we were very satisfied.
